Great flavor and unique dishes. Bistec a la Mexicana is a go to dish, great taste and heat combo - and it even reheats well the next day. It does get a little too laud during the nights when they have DJ.

Tried this restaurant for the first time after reading the reviews. The food was amazing. Enchiladas with mole was so good and was served with some of the best tasting rice and beans. Wish the chips that came with salsa didn't come out of a bag, but that's okay. Will return for great authentic Mexican food.

We found this spot while headed back to the airport & decided to give it a try. The custom service was ok and the food was FANTASTIC. Best burrito I ever ever eaten. My hubby enjoyed his as well. He had the Pastor Burrito & I had mines mixed with steak & chorizo. OMG it was sooooo delicious. Can't wait to try it again. We didn't try any alcoholic beverages but the bar menu was extensive and the bar area was nice.

Appearances aside this is a really good taco place. So good, we want twice. Street tacos, tamales, and quesadillas was what we had. Tacos came with 2 corn tortillas, loaded with the protein of your choice (we had carnitas, beef, beef tongue, tripe) cilantro and onions. For sauces, the have a station, I don't know what we had but tried them all. The yellow one was so spicy and I thought it was the mild. Anyway, very affordable, table service, nice staff, and super good authentic food.. we went for lunch and late dinner. For dinner, it was packed and you know is good when most of the patrons were Mexicans.

This was definitely a hidden gem in Bensenville. I can't remember what this building was before but once we stepped inside two things stood out. First I noticed the salsa bar- then I noticed the regular bar. Add a couple of tv's playing a soccer game and music in the background, it was a good vibe. The waitress who attended us provided us with chips and salsa. Nothing special about the chips, but its a nice a touch to provide that when a lot of places don't. Our drinks came quickly as well and we had to order waters. As for our food order, I ordered a Cemita Poblanita- which was a crispy sesame seed torta bread filled with a thin piece of fried chicken, thin piece of fried pork, a hot dog, and ham. All of it was topped with Oaxaca shredded cheese and chipotle peppers which were not spicy at all but added great flavor to the sandwich. My two tacos were lengua (tongue) and cabeza (head). The tacos were a good size and tasty. The salsa options is what did it. From mild to spicy, plenty to choose from for whatever tasted you may crave. My wife ordered a steak cemita and steak huarache. The huarache was a little too crispy for my liking, but good overall and flavorful. Overall we both enjoyed this spot and will definitely be back. I can't wait for my next meal at Taco Puebla.
